I've just treated myself to one of these!


I chose this camera because of the vibrantly coloured and deeply saturated prints it produces and thought it would be great to use to take photos of Hastings on sunny days.

I will soon be posting what the first film reveals! Exciting!!

Taking up something new...

A few people asked me, "What are you giving up for Lent?" And I pondered that for a while. Then I asked myself, why does it have to be so negative? So instead I'm taking up something new! Well OK not entirely new, but revisiting something and sticking to it this time. And that thing is... my tapestry herb pillow! I started this project way back in November 2010 and although I have been stitching slowly bit by bit, it is just plain shameful that it still remains unfinished!! So, my aim is to complete it within these 40 days and 40 nights of Lent!

Pancake Day!

Happy Pancake Day / Happy Fat Tuesday / Merry Mardi Gras everyone!

Can you believe it's that time of year again?! I can't wait to get home this evening and make pancakes!! I've decided on making savoury pancakes for supper this evening and will give this recipe a go...

Mushroom and Spinach Pancakes

Then perhaps a lemon and sugar one for dessert! Have to load up before lent!
